Our grammatical error
Why does such a smart company have a glaring grammatical
error on their home page?
...Because there are a lot more google searches for "fresh
roasted coffee" than there are for "freshly roasted coffee". Sad, but
true. You see, "freshly" is an adverb that modifies the word "roasted".
"Fresh" is an adjective that modifies the word "coffee". The correct phrasing
would be "freshly roasted coffee" since freshly comes right before the
word "roasted". But we decided that it was more important for people to
be able to easily find our website than for us to be grammatically correct.
So apologies to you grammar experts out there, we think you'll like our
coffee anyway!
